Jacqueline E. Lawton (Playwright) is a playwright, dramaturg, producer, and advocate for Access, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in the American Theatre. Her produced plays include: Blood-bound and Tongue-tiedThe Hampton YearsIntelligenceMad Breed; and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Her work has been developed and presented at the following venues: Classical Theater of Harlem, Folger Shakespeare Library, the Kennedy Center, Pasadena Playhouse, Rep Stage, Rorschach Theater Company, PlayMakers Repertory Company, Round House Theatre, Theater J, and Woolly Mammoth Theater Company. Lawton has received commissions from Arena Stage, Adventure Theatre - Musical Theatre Center, National New Play Network, National Portrait Gallery, National Museum of American History, Round House Theatre, and Theater J. She received her MFA in Playwriting from the University of Texas at Austin, where she was a James A. Michener Fellow. She is a 2012 TCG Young Leaders of Color award recipient and an alum of National New Play Network (NNPN) Playwright Alum, Arena Stage's Playwrights' Arena, and Center Stage’s Playwrights Collective. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Dramatic Art at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and a dramaturg for PlayMakers Repertory Company. She is also Dramatist Guild’s Regional Representative for North Carolina.
Ilya Kalin (Director) is a native of Penza, is a director, an actor, a musician, and a drama teacher located in Yekaterinburg. Directing credits include Samantha Smith Free Theatre, the Center for Contemporary Drama, and The Chamber Theatre. A graduate of Yekaterinburg State Theatre Institute, class of A. Blinov and A. Blinova, Ilya Kalin authored and managed Il Colman and Chipping e-projects, and has been the guitarist and lead singer of Magical Marginals, art-blues band.
Diana Yakubova (Nico) was born in 1998 in Tyumen, Russia. She graduated in 2020 from Yekaterinburg Theatrical Institute.  Diana has a passion for dance, and has studied classical, contemporary, folk and street dancing. This year she began acting at the Moscow Armenian Theater. Diana also works a teacher, has performed in several films, and does voiceover narrator for video productions.
